Hallelujah!

"And it came to pass ... " 1 Kings 18

Physical things, material things and experiences are ever-changing. They are never permanent. And the saying, "It came to pass ..." which originated from the reading 1 Kings 18 in the Bible infers that life's challenges come and, importantly, they go. Life does not stand still. Challenges make us move forward and we grow in the process. Situations come into our experience for us to make them pass through healing ourselves. They come to pass, they do not come to stay and punish us and make our lives miserable. And it is at this juncture that Mary1's Project Boyfriend journey comes into focus.

Mary1's journey has come to pass!

The lessons learned, the joys embraced, the sadness addressed, the anticipations and disappointments celebrated, Mary1 has seized each emotion enthusiastically, she has processed the fallout and hugged the happiness that were a part of this journey.

Mary1 has taken an open-ended sabbatical (lovely archaic scriptural word) from Project Boyfriend and all that it encompasses. And significantly, as she ventures forth she will not be journeying alone thanks to her champion-of-all-champions offspring, her few but deeply cherished girlfriends, her treasured non-Johns, two stalwart live parents, a handful of ever-supportive colleagues, two handsome spaniels and the two furriest of all cats ... oh, and a John, perchance.

So it is with mixed emotions that Mary1 kisses the past goodbye and opens the door to the new, the exciting, the mystery of men, women, life and love.

Namaste.
