Yes, it is me! Just 50, foxy, groovy, lover of champagne and coffee! Can be found in coffee shops at a variety of times of the day (legitimately, although I do work) and am a favourite of the staff at various Vida e Caffes ... say no more. The newspaper is usually nearby unless I am having a coffee a deux or trois!

I am a just-turned 50 year old single, full-time working, mother of three. I am a Capetonian, South African born and bred, apart from a couple of years spent at university in the Eastern Cape and a stint working in Johannesburg. I read for a Bachelor of Commerce at Rhodes University and a Higher Diploma in Education at the University of Cape Town. My career has been colourful; I have worked in a number stockbroking houses, a market research company, as an estate agent, at a high school and a night school, I have taught in various investment houses and am currently working for a disability assessment consultancy. I am thus (semi-)skilled in many an area, but am most passionate about imparting my knowledge and skills regardless of the arena. I have a passion for news and analysis of any form. I read avidly and am drawn to thinking, clever people. Debate and arguments about issues du jour excite me.
